Want to start kayaking and don’t know where to start? Or do you just want to paddle freely and enjoy the magical evening atmosphere of the Karloveske Arm? That’s exactly what Sunset paddling in the Karloveske Arm is for.

Sunset paddling takes place in Karloveske arm under the guidance of an instructor. At the beginning of each paddling session, we will explain the basics and how to get into the kayak. Everyone is welcome at these events – even those who have never sat in a kayak before

Every visitor to Bratislava and also every visitor to Bratislava should at least once try a quiet paddle in a kayak in the Karloveska river. In the evening there is even a chance to see a beaver.

Who is it for?

This program is truly for everyone, regardless of age or experience. The important thing is the desire to try something new.

Sunset paddling is led by Michaela Davidovičová – an enthusiastic kayaker, instructor of the Wim Hof method. Michaela has patience to spare and always explains everything in detail and thoroughly.

Did you know that the Karloveske Arm is home to beaver families? These stocky creatures live to adulthood here and grow from respectable size. The best chance to see them in the wild is at sunrise and sunset.
